The Skills Centre

The Skills Centre is a dynamic facility that believes in the transformative power of skill-building. Our centre offers various services tailored to meet each participant’s needs.

Our comprehensive program and inclusive environment are designed to assist individuals with various abilities to lead fulfilling lives. We offer fun and meaningful experiences centered around our five pillars of curriculum: home skills, community inclusion, independent living, vocational skills, and advocacy.

We take pride in offering a unique approach to skill-building and are dedicated to working with each participant to help them reach their full potential. At the Skills Centre, we believe that everyone has the potential to grow and reach their goals. Our services empower individuals to enhance their personal development and achieve greater independence.

Pillars of Curriculum

Recipe of the Month

This month, the Skills Centre is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a classic: Irish Soda Bread! Made with simple ingredients, this traditional bread is easy to make and perfect for pairing with butter, jam, or a warm bowl of soup.

Skill of the Month

Being able to recognize and identify money is an important step in building financial independence. This month at the Skills Centre, we are focusing on recognizing different Canadian bills and coins - knowing what they look like, their values, and how to use them in everyday life!

Take a look at the photo - how many can you name? 🤔
