Paul De Luisa - Chair
“I enjoy seeing the amazing work staff and management do each day to enrich the lives of persons with an intellectual disability.”
Paul joined the Board in 2013. He is a Mechanical Engineer working in the mining industry in Sudbury. Paul brings a wide array of valuable skills to the Board, including business and lean process improvement, risk management and project management.
Paul is a cycling enthusiast who, when not hard at work or contributing his time and energy to Community Living, regularly participates in rides with various clubs and for charity events.
Mary Huska
“I’m excited about the changes that are happening at CLGS. I believe we can be leaders in driving innovation and advocacy.”
Mary is a Clinical Bioethicist with a Masters in Health Sciences. She began her career as an RN and has worked in health care since 1986. Mary has volunteered her time and expertise to various non-profit organizations and joined the Board in 2015.
David Chisholm
I want to teach my kids about the importance of volunteering and making a real difference in our community.”
David is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 7 years of experience working in complex financial matters. David is new to the Board and one area of expertise we are excited about is his knowledge of Business Intelligence analytics.
Jane Webber
Jane is a Business Improvement Lead with Glencore. Prior to taking on this role, Jane worked in the areas of Information Services and Human Resources with Glencore. Jane brings a wealth of knowledge in performance management, including developing Key Performance Indicators and training teams for sustained improvements. Her critical thinking and consensus-building skills will be an asset to the Board.
Zachary Courtemanche
“A member of my family lives with a disability. I want to help all people with a disability live with dignity.”
Zachary is an Associate Lawyer and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree cum laude. He has been an active volunteer for several years. He was senator of the student association and was also a member of the university’s strategic plan steering committee.
Mild mannered by day, Zachery’s pastime is all things motorcycle – whether it’s off the beaten the track, or zipping down the road.
Allan Giles
“CLGS’ mission to foster meaningful living for people with developmental disabilities is something I want to be a part of.”
Allan is new to the Board, having joined in 2019. He is a bank director with a local credit union. He has extensive experience in commercial banking. He also brings expertise in management, planning, customer service and resource allocation.
Allan believes that the best part of being a father is the opportunity to lead by example. That’s why he is dedicated to showing how every person can make a positive change in their community.

Joshua Watson

“Advancing inclusion in the lives of the people we support and in our community strongly resonates with me.”
Joshua is a project management professional in the mining construction industry. Originally from Australia, he has travelled to, and lived in many areas of the world, most recently Mongolia. He has a strong skill set in change management and governance and is a Chartered Professional Engineer.

Sherry Salo

Sherry Salo

Sherry has held senior leadership positions across multiple industries including not-for-profit organizations. She has extensive financial, HR, quality assurance, property and fleet management and risk assessment experience.
Sherry is a Certified Professional Accountant and has an international MBA degree. She has a great passion for CLGS’ mission and is pleased to be a part of our team.

Kim Rumley, Director of Community Services

Kim is a strong advocate for those living with developmental disabilities. Kim’s leadership skills are focused on championing persons supported living their best lives aligned to staff being highly engaged and enjoying meaningful experiences. Kim brings to the Senior Leadership team numerous years of experience providing direct support to individuals living with both developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Kim has a passion for training, team building and mentoring new employees and students on person directed approaches and strategies. Kim takes special interest in labour relations, health and safety and cultivating inclusive communities.
Vickie Kaminski

Vickie Kaminski is a senior healthcare executive with more than 45 years of experience in the Canadian healthcare system. Her professional background is in nursing.
Vickie has led health systems in Ontario, Newfoundland, Alberta, and Manitoba. She also served for just over two years as the Chief Executive (Deputy Minister) of South Australia Health.
In these previous roles, Vickie was responsible for leading health system transformation and improving service integration across the continuum of service providers.
Most recently, Kaminski just completed a 6-month role as the Interim President and CEO of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare.
Vickie has worked as an Executive Advisor to PwC in their health practice. She currently is an independent health systems consultant.

Wendy Archambault
“The work our staff do is equally inspiring to the people we support.”
Wendy is a Speech-Language Pathologist and also an Ethics Facilitator helping hospital staff navigate issues that arise in providing care in a hospital. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board and is a good advocate for staff and the people we support.

Katrina Hakala
“Engaging with our communities is essential for strengthening the voices of the people we support.”
Katrina is an accounting and purchasing professional in the mining industry with a Commerce degree from Laurentian University and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Over the years she has volunteered for a variety of local organizations and joined the Board of CLGS in 2015.
Katrina knows the importance of keeping your paddles in the water, whether its enjoying the great outdoors in her kayak or finding new ways to participate in important community organizations and fundraising efforts.
Zachary Courtemanche
